PMG has extensive capabilities in the areas of modeling and analysis. Analytical and numerical approaches are used to solve a broad range of mechanical problems. Linear and non-linear FEA form the basis of our approach to product design. Our simulation engine is Abaqus (Dassault Systemes Simulia Corporation). Materials testing and evaluation form the backbone of. Our approach to providing products tailored to our customer’s needs. In-situ durability testing of products, be they components for synchronization or DensiForm® one-way clutches, allows PMG to characterize component fatigue behavior and to subsequently use this information for product design. In addition, extensive sample testing has allowed us to build a database of mechanical properties for our full suite of blends.
